Haven’t gotten around to seriously engaging with longtermism yet, but this makes it seem pretty cool. I mean, I do love Star Trek. And it could be real, if we give ourselves enough time!

Zooming out from our local planetary struggles is always so humbling. Just like the picture of Earth from Saturn you shared. Humans are also just so new everything.
